Hey Brian and everyone else.

I was wondering which books you all would recommend someone interested in getting started with mentalism/hypnosis.

First of all Brian mentioned Influence by Robert Cialdini @ SXSW live show.

I did some google searches and came up with these:

Thirteen Steps to Mentalism by Tony Corinda
Mind, Myth and Magic by T.A. Waters
Practical Mental Magic by Theo Annemann
Theatre of the Mind by Barrie Richardson
Professional Presentations by Al Koran
The Jinx by Theo Annemann
The Bold and Subtle Miracles of Dr. Faust by David Hoy
Psycho-Mancy by David Britland
Pure Effect by Derren Brown
The Mental Mysteries and Other Writings of William W. Larsen, Sr.
Paramiracles by Ted Lesley
Stunners Plus by Larry Becker
Psychological Subtleties by Banachek
Dynamic Mysteries by Richard Osterlind

and was wondering which ones you would add/remove to/from that list and perhaps rate which ones in your opinions are the best to start off with.

(I searched the forums for a similar thread but couldn't find one, bash me for incompetence if a similar one exists and point me in the right direction)

I don't know how many books he's written, but I recently say Luke Jermay's show in vegas, and he is an amazing mentalist.

I found a store at Penguin, and I'm sure if you google Luke Jermay books there will be more
