Is Rev3 making a push for DL.TV?

I notice them interacting with InDigital on the previous episode and last time I made a thread talking about how I dont like InDigital and it got locked (im looking at you Tom Cruise). Just wondering if anyone else thinks they maybe trying to sway the guys over at DL.TV to join in with Rev3?

The hating on DL.TV is my own personal beef. Not like based on the fact I hate the guys behind it or anything like that, just I didnt like the show at all.

Did not know it was done by ZD nor did I know it actually aired on Live on Tuesdays/Thursdays. That would help explain the commercials. I noticed a few people said it streamed but I just assume they meant like via WMP where you couldnt skip around. Thats pretty cool then. Still am not a fan of the show. Oddly enough it reminds me of too much of a ZDTV feel. You know? Like too informative and cold not enough jovial moments.

Yeah if ZD owns it then its not probably going to be coming here. So topic dies :D

Boy, I sure do wish Revision3 acquires DL.Tv. It could be the new Screensavers type show on Revision3. That would be awesome, one site for all your tech needs. Man I hope this happens, it would also be good to see Kevin and Patrick on the same set for once. They worked so well l together and I learned so much watching them on The Screensavers. It would also be pretty good if they got TWiT as well. That would make Revision3 an all-out tech assault and hopefully we wouldn't have to worry about it being a sell out because it's run by Kevin and Jay.

I hate dltv too. The way patrick and robert talk and interact annoys the crap out of me. I can hardly pay attention to what they are saying and it's always the same monotonous format.

I tried watching AOTS again recently. But I found myself turning a 1 hour show into 15 minutes with my TiVo :P 30 Skip FTW!

If you dont have 30 Skip on your TiVo then do this (none do you have to add it)

While watching a recording press "Select-Play-Select-3-0-Select" you may have to do it a couple times when its in you will hear the thumbs up sound 3 times. Now the "Go to End" button is now 30 Skip. Any time a commercial comes on press that sucker 4 or 5 times and your good to go :P

Im a big fan of Daily Show Colbert Report Heroes 24 My Name is Earl Scrubs (use to love The Office but they ran that into the ground) Doctor Who and Torchwood. But then again I acquire those by my own means.

I love DL.tv but I too think it isn't going anywhere. It's integrated into a lot of the ZD stuff and ZD has a few of its own podcasts that they support. It's good tech news and decent commentary. But its definitely not going anywhere in my opinion.

I was just saying this same thing the other day. I'm paying $50+ a month for Direct TV and its basically for Daily Show, Colbert Report, Monday Night Raw and sports (Hockey & Nascar). The apartment complex we live in we could get free local channels through the antenna on the roof. So that takes care of Heroes and 24. I can find torrents of the other shows and theres a sports bar right up the street to watch the Red Wings. And most Sunday's Nascar is on FOX or NBC. I don't know if we're on a 1 year contract with Direct TV but I'm really thinking about canceling it cuz we never watch anything on it.

I like DL.TV... I think that Ziff Davis, Louderback, Patrick and Robert have something good there. The key is that it's well produced... Take a look at it. It's a zillion times better than so much of the shoddy tech stuff out there on the net today.

Also, I hate to be simple about it, but the fact that Patrick and Robert actually feel passionately about what they talk about it 90% of why it works.

Two really poplular shows interacting together. Whats wrong with that. I love DLTV. Its the only show that covers not only tech. But, also answers viewer questions and during weekdays!

I like seeing DLTV/ZD people working with revision3. Good thing they care about In Digital.

Then why not use that same money and get a faster internet connection. Thanks to RSS, you leave your PC running, throw in a little Apple TV maybe and you can get the shows downloaded automatically and played on your TV.
