The pre-release period for diggnation is not 2 days!

Why do you guys keep saying it's only "2 days"? For episode 79 we're already at 5 days and it's still not available to non members.

They do believe that the sharing of Diggnation videos after it has been publicly released each week is fine, especially if download stats are provided to us. I agree, particularly since we think that Diggnation is something worth sharing. The only issue is during the pre-release window of two days (and I emphasize, this is _two days_).

The date on the file, January 4th, is the day it is recorded. Which is every Thursday.

The file is not released to members until Saturday night, so, the 6th (essentially Sunday, the 7th).

The show is then released to the public on Tuesdays, which is today.

The schedule has and always will be:

-Record on Thursdays.
-Release to members on Saturday night
-Release to public on Tuesdays

Honestly, I don't know the specific time of release on Tuesdays, as I am a member and have never had to download it later.

I thought the pre-release period referred to the time between the video file was released to non-members as opposed to members (which seems to be 3 days). Sorry, my mistake then.

Understandable. I just updated a sticky at the top of this forum with the schedule, to hopefully clear it up for anyone who has questions!

We get it on Saturday you get it on Monday. Two days. They film it on Thursday though thus the date you see on the video when you download it.
