Looking for a new cam

So im in the looking for a new Mini DV video cam...

I need your help because i'm on a tight budget since im a college student.

I need...

- Mini DV Camera
- Some kind of Mic. Input
- under.....600 bucks

I don't know how much the Canon HV40 costs around there but it is a very good camera for low-budget. You can achieve alot with'em.

I am not experienced with it but I have read-seen a lot of it. It would be my back-up cam if things turned out wrong regarding my own budget.

(don't forget HV30 etc. that you can get second hand)

the HV20 can be bought used on Amazon for as little as $400. It will suit your needs very well, i think.
