Have you ever checked the podcast directories? There are tons of them out there. Albeit none are of the quality of anything here or bigger podcast, but they do exist. My podcast is going to be a social network pull kind of like Digg but I guess if what you say is true, we can put more focus on gaming news then other stuff.

I think ANY podcast is fair game as long as it is either entertaining or informative. Sadly, as a lot of people lack the talent to be entertaining, they go for informative... but informative is just boring without the entertaining. SO, make your podcasts entertaining first.
