Which is better? Directv or comcast triple play?
I have AT&T Phone & DSL with basic comcast cable with HD.
I'm thinking of switching to directv and comcast internet with AT&T phone
or
comcast triple play?
I have 3 TVs(1 HDTV, 2 regular)
Which is the better deal?
Which is better for an anime lover?
Thanks!

Its difficult to say which one is "better". Part of it is the different technology. I currently have Directv and enjoy the service. There are some things to consider with directv.
Every TV will need a receiver. There is a $5 license fee for the 2nd receiver and beyond. So if you want those TVs connected consider roughly $10 extra to have receivers.
Currently there is no making HTPC that reads directv signals. You'll need to use something like haupage PVR that takes video through component video.
You said you like Anime, now there is an on demand channel for anime on directv. Im not sure if its any good or not. I found the on demand for directv to be an "OK" feature. Haven't found anything amazing so far.
It really depends on what programming you like. If you're into sports and the NFL then directv is kind of a no brainer.
Last thing is Directv also has contracts. So just like cell phone carriers if you decide to cancel you're charged an early termination fee.
But when it comes down to pure programming and channels I prefer directv. Hope that makes some sense.

my two cents on comcast, not a fan of there boxes' gui and they've been forcing recently people (like me) to get boxes for their tv.
Direct TV, I've heard, has trouble doing dvr from a 3rd device but it's own works fine.

Also if you were considering Directv. I would wait, they're supposed to introducing multi-room dvr. Where the other rooms can watch what is recorded from the other receivers. I'm not sure if that means new hardware or if the existing hardware is capable of doing it.
