Problems with Diggnation Episodes on iTunes

I'm subscribed to the Diggnation video cast in iTunes. The videos never seem to play back correctly and the audio is never on sync with the video. Can anyone suggest another other media players to watch Digg through and in a high resolution ? Is Theora any good ?

some ideas when i faced a similar issue:

1. did you try updating your itunes to the latest version
2. dont run too many apps at the same time
3. task manager, change the priority of itunes thread like, 'high'
4. download the episodes from revision 3 in a different format (ie WMV)

I always just grab the large XVid off of revision3.com The iTunes feed is too low quality. and I have a wireless media player, so i can watch it on my TV in the XVid format.
