Does he have a job? or does he have enough that he doesn't have to work for the rest of his life?
I see he can afford to fly to SFO at least twice a week.

I have def. thought about this before. I know he's been in that Dell commercial and maybe some other small stuff, but how does he live!?! I figure that maybe Digg flies him out to San Fran most of the time or something, i don't know, that's the only thing I can think of...

There is already a thread on this from a ways back, search for that.

He's a serial suer. He's found, like, nine pinkies in his chili at Wendy's.

Damn, I searched. Did not find anything.
How does digg have so much money to fly him out?

Yes but think of all the frequent flier miles he has from flying to San Fransisco almost every week.
PS:Heres the thread I was referring to:http://www.revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1120&highlight=alex

He only worked there for like 3 months. No way he has a pension plan.
And anyway, Kevin has 60 million dollars, so Alex doesn't need to work. Duh.

You mean royalties? That wouldn't be enough to live on at this point. I can't see how it could be.

Royalties. Not pension.
Kevin does NOT have $60mil sitting around somewhere. That is the value that Business Week estimated his stake in the company to be worth. To have the money, he'd have to sell off whathe owns in the company. Stock in a company is a non-liquid asset. He can't write a check and pay his rent with it without selling.
And even if Kevin DID have $60, who's to say he's supporting Alex?

Reruns pay residuals at nominated SAG rates if a royalty (ie bumper fee) contract wasn't negotiated. Principle actors and writers often receive royalties (royalities implies creative content), while hosts might only qualify for residuals (principle particiapnt in the production).
When it comes down to it - does it really matter? Alex is an actor. He may well be living on Ramen noodles and taking beer orders at a bar in Santa Monica for all we know.

I'm pretty sure the 60 million dollar thing was a sarcastic joke ;)

First, he's getting neither. The original poster mentioned pension, and all I responded with was that there's no way he has a pension plan considering it's a retirement plan and Alex worked there for about 3 months and got fired.

Wow, I'm glad someone caught on to that. Aria should lighten up a bit.

Goddammit, quit being assholes. A lot of people do believe Kevin's got $60mil sitting in the bank. I'm in a mood as fiery as my hair because of some depressing shit. So PLEASE be nice to me today.

Well, either, depending on his involvement. Who knows. The people from Gilligan's Island only got residuals from the first three reruns, which they thought a good deal at the time, not realizing they would be rerun many, MANY more times.

Calm down. My first comment was made sarcastically, and my second response was made in jest. I thought I had made an obvious joke and you were just taking me way too seriously.

I'm having a horrible day, and am trying to not cry, and also not to spill details. This may not be a time to be on the board. I don't want to snap at people here. I'm sorry.

That's a foreign concept right now. I'm trying. Really trying. but can admit when I'm being a self-centered b*tch (yes, I can admit it!), and I kind of am right now.
Back to the topic unless you want to take this to private messages.

sort of on topic - i was wondering what these guys do in a typical week.
eg how does Kevin find time to work on Digg, travel around all over the place, have a social life and play Xbox Gears of War as well? Just one of those things would rule me out doing anything else.
Similarly Alex, what does he do in an average week?
I'm not interested in their personal life but from a time management perspective how do they do it? Is there a thread on this?

Well, for Kevin, I'm pretty sure Digg is now a 9-5 job. I'm sure his schedule is pretty flexible though to be going to conferences and events and stuff. Shooting Diggnation should only take an hour or two every Thursday, but I also think the reason why we so often see it shot in San Francisco is because it's easier for Alex to get down there because he probably has more free time than Kevin.

Which if you were a real ass hole then you would do the same thing one more time....And then she would say the same thing. And we could start one big circle!
