Is there a way to digg down forum posts like the comment section on digg?

Take a look at each and every post, on the right there is a little "R" that you can use to rate. See if this does it for you.

There's nothing that will actually bury the posts like on Digg. The R Samureye mentions is just adds or detracts from the users reputation, which is completely behind the scenes.

How about an option one day of hiding a post you don't want to see anymore? Not digging it down for everyone, just making it invisible for that particular user.

The closest you will come in the forums is to put someone on your ignore list. this will hide ALL posts from that person (but not post where someone has quoted them).

There is no "comment" voting threshold on these forums. Not even "reputation" comes into play when it comes to what you see in a thread.
