Display Name

I apologize for creating another (probably) pointless help thread, but this has been bothering me all week. It seems I can change my display name on the main Revision 3 homepage, but when I check back to the forums nothing has changed. Is there a difference between these two accounts, and is there a way to change my name on the forums (as well as text/video comments on the main page)?

EDIT: This thread seems to have been deleted, so I'm reposting it under the assumption that it was not a moderator's doing. I also now realize this probably is not the correct forum to post this under, so I would appreciate if you moved my thread instead of deleting it.

Also, if there is no answer to this problem I would be happy to create another account under a different name.

1. No record of a deleted thread. First time this one ha shown up.
2. Wouldn't a "Support Forum" be a logical place to post anyway? Thread moved.
3. The main site and the forums share security, but the display name is independent. the forums use your login name.

If changing your display name is crucial to your inner being, and conforms to the rules of being a login name too, send a PM to chuckles with your current login name, your desired login name, and the email address you created your account with.

Your display name for the forums cannot be changed unless you create a new account.
