chloe should punch morris in the nuts

My wife's convinced that Tom Lennox (the sneaky conservative Defense/Homeland Security guy) is only pretending to go along with the assasination plan. That he will expose the plot once he knows more.
no way - he's an asshhole
he's in it to win it
is papa bauer stealing his son's wallet?
everybody has lean times but damn
is this season going to be decided by an inter-generational Bauer family arm wrestling match?

Hasn't Gredenko been on 24 before?
name sounds familiar
how does jack's dad just get to wander around CTU?
maybe he was cheating on you with several russian men
how does nobody notice Papa Bauer lurking?
what the hell happened to his hands?
jack
what is it?
i wish I was still ****ing you
didn't morris just have a hugeass drillbit in his shoulder?
how's he going to type?
why's the tac team in a ups truck?
what can brown do for you?

In the meantime:
Earlier tack for 'Black'
NBC pulls 'Studio' for 'Donnellys'
By JOSEF ADALIAN
NBC's 'The Black Donnellys' will now preem on Feb. 26, bumping 'Studio 60' off the sked a week early.
NBC is pushing up the premiere date for "The Black Donnellys" -- and pulling "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" off the air a week earlier than planned.
"Donnellys," which was set to bow March 5, will now sign on Monday, Feb. 26, at 10 p.m. Move gives "Donnellys" an extra week on the air with a firstrun "Heroes" lead-in.
"Heroes" is set to go into repeats after its March 5 episode.
Premiere date change was announced Tuesday afternoon, hours after Nielsen confirmed that "Studio 60" -- the current occupant of the post-"Heroes" timeslot -- dropped to its lowest ratings yet. NBC hasn't yet said when it plans to bring back "Studio 60" for its final run of season one segs.
Decision to yank "Studio 60" a week early will no doubt raise a new round of questions about the show's long-term fate. Insiders said the net still hasn't decided what to do with the show and that the sked change is mostly about giving "Donnellys" the best possible launch.
I'm pretty annoyed with the way they aren't supporting studio 60. It needs to stay.
conor, 24 was awesome. WATCH IT. and come back on mondays man we miss you. It was sad, me kwok talk and isteve talking to ourselves.

The only complaint I have about this season (and it's a small one) is that the plot device about a coup detate against President Palmer, involving the VP seems eeirily familiar to Season 2 or 3 when they did the same thing to his brother - also because he was perceived to be weak in response to a nuclear bomb detonated by terrorists.
24 really falls apart if you overanalyze it. It's just really fun.

Oh, I know. The show is best enjoyed when you just give into it and ride the wave. I've even given up trying to predict the predictable - who will be killed off next, who is the mole in CTU, who will betray Jack next, who will Jack have to torture next. Best just to let it happen.

I finally got to finish this week's 24!
Man, is Papa Bauer an eeeeeeeevil **** or what?
I have to say, if we have to have an annoying blonde Kid Bauer, I'd really prefer it was Kim. I mean, if we have to have one.
Jack to Marilyn: "I promise I won't put you in any danger." As soon as he said that, I laughed and laughed
I like how they sent the full tac team into some random house on the basis of Marilyn's shaky memory of the night she followed her husband when she thought he was having an affair.
I have this odd relationship with James Cromwell. No not like that. I've never actually met him. I mean that I've loved him and hated him consistently throughout his career. Now, I love him again. I know that he's just playing roles or whatever but I think it's a testiment to his skill that I react viscerally to him based on the last thing I see him in. before this, Six Feet Under. I spent every episode screaming DIE FUC* at my tv.

One of my favorite things about 24 is that they are constantly couching events in very specific times so we know when to look for events to unfold.
"Our man will be here in an hour."
"We are fifteen minutes away."
"It will take 20 minutes to release the toxin."
On other shows those lines would blow right past me, on 24 you make note of it.

That’s a pretty interesting article and I think it speaks for some of the things that have been bothering me this season. Don’t get me wrong. I still love 24 and it’s the only series I watch every week. But I haven’t found myself as gripped as I did in previous seasons. I think one of the things brought up in the article that really rung true for me was that many of the characters we loved from the earlier seasons aren’t there anymore. The new characters are nice, but I still haven’t come close at all to loving them as much as I did for Tony, Michelle, or Nina. It seems like Chloe is the only newer character that fans gravitated towards, but even she doesn’t seem really up to par so far. Granted, there still is a long way to go in the season.
I think it might be indicative of something where I look forward to what quip Fred, Conor, or iSteve will come out with next while watching the show.

So who's the CTU traitor this season?
Nadia, random transfer from other CTU branch that shows up halfway in the season, and the zombified corpse of Nina Meyers.

Seriously, nuclear bomb-toting terrorists or not, if I had just been tortured in the line of duty and people rode me that hard or not working fast mere HOURS after said torture, I'd walk. Or limp. You know, because of the torture.

I think his body has metabolized quite a bit... He'd probably take the alcohol and inject it via syringe.

I love the grizzled beard. It's my favorite grizzled look.
Hell, I even grew one in college during a particularly grizzly semester*.
*Looking back on it now, I'd take a full grizzly semester in college over a hellish day at work in the real world any day.

Last year Logan was compared to Nixon - with growing the beard this season, comparison has to be LBJ - LBJ grew his hair long after leaving the White House, his own grizzled look.

I think that a universal law should be:
If someone has your good friend assassinated, you drop them the first chance you get, no matter what information they claim to have that will help you because later, like maybe seven episodes later, it's going to come back to haunt you and you are going to wish you sank a ball point pen into his carotid artery when you had the chance.

I can never get past two weeks growth or so. I get itchy. And the work thing, so would I.
