Does anyone know what camera they use to film diggnation? Specifically in episode 80. If anyone can give me a make and model number it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Your best bet is to email diggnationfans@gmail.com, they rarely ever read these forums.

I was hoping maybe Jay would pass by and see this. Hopefully I can get an answer.
We use a Panasonic DVX-100A to record Diggnation, on a side note I check the Diggnation forum on a regular basis, so feel free to ask more questions or give suggestions, thanks for watching!

Wow it has a wiki:

Used to film Mythbusters, A Scanner Darkly, November, and Jackass 2.

How come Diggnation is not on widescreen?
I always watch Diggnation on my TV and I really wish Diggnation was on widescreen
I don't mind content with 480p or i, I really want widescreen.

I really don't think the demand is there yet. Or ever will be, but you never know.

until there is a widescreen ipod and/or the iphone is released, most people watching on the go are using 4:3 ipods.
also, the dvx100 is natively a 4:3 camera and requires a special lense to shot "true" widescreen, afaik.

Joey,
What software do you use? Vegas, Adobe Premier? Also does Eden Soto do your lower thirds as well as the intro?
