I don't really want to now about Kilitzy's secret "in-and-out" back door menu...
As far as your poll goes. I kinda like Friday's, but the menu is getting a bit old.

Well Popeye's opened here recently and I liked their chicken, but I started back laying off the meat for a while, so I think any fast food will have to be subway :s

We have a couple of local restaurants that we visit more often than chains.
To be honest - I can cook better pasta than Olive Garden, and better steaks than Outback.
Eating out is an event, or a way of avoiding washing up.

I'm with you T/U. However, a lot of local places aren't set-up to well for kids. We end up going to diners more than anything else these days...

BUT, the best place we go as a group is a local chinese place that does Dim Sum (Yum Cha) on Sundays. Food is fast, they are kid friendly, and the parents can have adult conversations :) OK, the topics often drift towards baby stuff, and parentla survival techniques, but we have fun.
I guess my turn will come to play parent (one day, maybe).

I'm a fan of any good reasonably priced Sushi/Japanese restaurant. The harder it is to understand the waiter/people sitting around me the better.
As for restaurants in particular, Andy's Barbecue formally in Campbell, CA now in San Jose/Santa Clara, CA is amazing. And Mo's Barbecue in Pismo Beach is good. Lastly, La Victoria's Taqueria in San Jose, CA is on my list for sure.

My wife and I were on vacation over the holidays and we ate at 3 different Jimmy Buffett Margaritavilles. So my vote for my favorite restaurant goes to Margaritaville. The food was good, the drinks were GREAT and the whole beach bum atmosphere was a blast.
