Windows 7 "Projector" switch

Recently bought an HDTV, and I have it hooked up to my PC via HDMI. I can switch displays by using Windows Key + P.

This switches the video over, but in order to switch sound over I have to manually go into my sound settings and select HDMI under playback.

Is there a way to switch audio automatically when I switch displays? Or is there a better way to set this up?

Don't know if this helps, but I do a slightly different setup with my laptop. The only real difference is my connection is physically dropping and brought back-up, so it’s not soft driven.

I have set my HDMI audio as default and when I remove the HDMI cable the device is disabled by windows and it reverts back to the speakers, when the HDMI cable is plugged back in its priority is HDMI, so I get switch sound as well as video. However, I did have to get different ATI drivers for the disabled part to work.
