I love watching Revision3 content on my TV whenever possible. If I'm at work and can't wait, I'll just watch on my Macbook. But I do get to see most of it on the TV. So I am wondering how everyone is getting it on their TV's(those that are, anyway). I currently download it on my Macbook, throw it on a USB drive and copy it to my PS3. I tried just streaming it to my TV, but it lagged, and it's faster to transfer it via USB drive than to copy it to the PS3 over my network. So, is there another way to get Revision3 content directly to my TV?

I believe it was on HDNation that they said that the Roku Box will get Revision3 content streamed to the TV. But since I don't have one of those, is there anything else I can do with my current media sources? I have an Xbox360 and a PS3. I am negotiating with the Mrs. to get my PC into the living room, so that'll solve the problem nicely. BUT.... if negotiations fail or if it takes a while to come to fruition, I would like an alternative.

Thanks for any and all responses.

to speed up yours, don't copy it from USB to PS3. Play it directly off the USB, saves some time.

I used to do the same as you, download and transfer to PS3. Now I have a Revo with XBMC installed on it. It has a add-on for Rev3 that streams it over the internet. I just use that. Works great, looks good, and I only have to wait about 5-10 seconds for it to cache before starting to play.

I transfer it anyway cause sometimes i don't get to watch the full episode in one sitting, or I like to go back and show my wife a clip or two. And it only takes like a minute to transfer. But thanks for the reply.

How much was the Revo?

The Roku box is an excellent alternative, in addition are other set-top boxes, like the Tivo.

it was and still is $200 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883103228&cm_re=acer_aspire_revo-_-83-103-228-_-Product

and then I followed this guide for installing XBMC http://www.interworks.com/blogs/rboyles/2010/01/31/hd-playback-xbmc-acer-aspire-revo

I have a mac, I have Itunes, so Itunes downloads it then I bought connect360 for $20 and I can stream all kinds of stuff from my mac, including pod cast to my TV. Works wonderful.
MedialLink looks Like the same thing for PS3.

Hope that helps
