In case you were looking for the next episode of CO-OP, here's the info you're looking for.

The next episode of CO-OP will be live streamed on April 6th.
After that, the next (and last one) will be live streamed on May 18th.

For more information about CO-OP and the changes - you can read all about it on the Area 5 Blog here:

thanks.

Uhm yeah, I kinda saw this coming. I noticed the latest episode of CO-OP Live just felt a little bit rushed, as if no one just enjoyed doing it anymore. It's kind of a bummer they spent all that money and time building that (don't get me wrong, gorgeous set) just to end the show 2 months later.

Oh well, we move on. I hope this makes room for more original in-house-produced Rev3 shows.

As much as I'm saddened to see this show go, this news doesn't really bother me as much as it would have had the show not switched to the Live format before this announcement.

I was personally disappointed by the COOP Live format. I missed when there used to be sketches between the discussions. When the show switched to Live, there seemed to be only one sketch per show, and I found myself skipping past the Twitter segments (which seemed to make up the bulk of the show, unfortunately), frankly because they bored me. They also replaced Jonathan Mann's wonderful intro with that horrid new one. (If the composer of the new theme song frequents these forums, I'm sorry. It's not meant to be an attack on you; I just didn't like the song.)

Let's hope Area5 utilizes the time for these changes to make the last two episodes better. They tried to fix what wasn't broken, and now that it seems to be the case, I feel another fix is necessary this time.

I wish the best of luck to Area5's future endeavors.

It depresses me that this sort of personality based long-form video game critique can't be made viable. I really enjoyed co-op and 1-up before it. I'm willing to lay down cash so that the people can produce it full-time. Am I such a strange bird?

No you're not strange, I really like the show too.

Maybe we're both strange.

I love CO-OP and will be very sad when the last episode is watched. I was unhappy when I read this was going to stop. I hope we see more from Area5 and that Rev3 starts its own gaming show.

I come to rev3 to watch TRS, Diggnation and Co-Op.

When I heard they were doing a live show, I thought it was going to be in the vein of Diggnation live shows, which I thought would be great. But only once in a while.

I was sad to see the show change and even sadder to see it go.

Doubt it. They're importing The Game Show (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33778) apparently, to replace CO-OP I'm assuming. That probably means no original show. :( I'll check it out anyway.

As one of the few redeeming qualities on the network, I am very disappointed to see it end so soon. If I thought I knew 4 people that could wax about games I'd try emulating what worked so well.

I loved this show post-relaunch, mostly because I was more interested in the minds behind co-op than the sketches and loved the way you guys handled the live show. Unfortunately, it's gone now.

As an aspiring (and tbh getting there) game developer, it was a really good watch and I felt that this show had some of the best opinions about video games, even in the days when it was called "The 1up Show". Unfortunately, not being tied to that big name company made you lose some strong financial background, and the irony of it all is that this show ended due to the same reasons 1up Show ended all so long ago. (Financial problems, show wasn't worth the money, etc)

I really wished this show would continue. To be honest, I think you guys tried to aim too high for your budget. You could have just been sitting in your living room with a good quality camera and such (much like the best of 2009 episode) and I would have still tuned in. An intro and ending skit would be ok with me, but as long as it doesn't take up the majority of what I enjoyed about the show, the opinions.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. x3
