I have my PC connected to a Pannasonic Viera 42'' plasma television. My PC has 2 BFG factory overclocked NVidia 9600's in SLI configuration. What I am noticing is that when I launch Mass Effect 2, and some others games, the borders of the Mass Effect 2 screen are stretched beyond the actual visable borders of the televesion.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing this and how I can correct it?

Thanks for any assistance you guys can provide.

Its called overscan.
Either your TV or your videocard driver (maybe both) will have an option to turn it off.

Mass Effect has realy bad resolution support (for a modern game), it may be using the wrong resolution.

I went digging through the menu's on my tv and found that it does not have an option to turn off the over scan. Wish I knew about this iussue before buying the tv. But it only afects games, so it's not the end of the world.

Ended up having to use the NVidia control panel to custom fit a resolution for the tv, and have to do the same for each game. A pain, but a small price to pay for how good the stuff looks on a 42'' plasma.

Thanks for the suggestions.
