Hi!
My Name is Ehssan Kanngo I am 22 years old and I live in Sweden. I have been reading comics on and off again since I was seven. 2006 I started collecting seriously, that started with an sudden urge to find and read the rest of the Avengers stories i remembered from my childhood (the last thing i remembered was that it ended with a cliffhanger).
Anyways, a year or so after that i discovered the ifanboy video podcast witch has helped me find many great comics that i wouldn't have known about otherwise, so thank you for that. Now I want join the ifanbase for real and I hope that you'll have me.
Sincerely Yours
Ehssan

Hello, new reader here! I always watched shows like JLA, Batman and X-men when I was younger and read a few comics with my dad. But last Free Comic Book Day, a friend took me to a store and I found myself reading new comics. I've only just started out, but enjoy series like The Flash (the art in Brightest Day is amazing!), Spiderman, and Hellblazer.

Hey, I’m George and I have been addicted to comics since the early 1970’s when I use to read my brothers X-Men comics. My hometown didn’t have a comic shop-I bought comics off the spinner rack when I had some change. I floated on and off buying comics based solely on the cover art. It wasn’t until I was in high school that I evolved into getting comics on a regular monthly basis and carefully boxing up those that I did have. At one point I had not quite 12,000 comics, but graduating from collage and a couple of career relocations across country have caused me to purge my collection down to the 4,000 I have today. I have two sons and have become their enabler by exposing them to the ‘good stuff’ from the 70’s and 80’s.

Hello. My name is John and I'm addicted to comic books..... Wait. Wrong website.
I am a Marvel Zombie. I've been reading X-Men and Spider-Man for over 10 years. I prefer Marvel to DC (sorry Conner).
I also write. Haven't had anything publishedyet. But I am working on that. My goal is to write Deadpool comics.
Want to know something else. Drop me a line.

Greetings!
My name is Jan, 22 years old, and I'm from the Philippines. I've loved comic books ever since the first time I learned to read, which was like 4-5 years old. I've always been a Batman and Spider-man fan. I was buying comic books sporadically until about year ago when I decided to take up comic book collecting seriously.
My love for comics led me to searching for podcasts about comic books, which ultimately led me to ifanboy on youtube, which is why I'm now here. I've tried a lot of other podcasts but ifanboy is truly the only one who has that fanboy appeal on me.
I'm glad to be part of the ifanbase!

My name is Asa and I like comic books. Came to the medium in my early 20s. Sure, I enjoyed them as a kid, but didn't really consider them an artform until recently. And I'm especially fond of superhero comics.
As the last few years have passed I've devoted countless hours and dollars to these wonderful, wonderful books that keep opening themselves up to me. And I'm always looking for more.
Favorites as of now (in no particular order):
Bendis, Brubaker, Morrison, Rucka, Fraction, Straczynski, Kirkman, Waid... and so on. Johns either wows me or bores me. Chew is probably my newest favorite, in the Random category.
I'm always open for new suggestions. However, I only buy trades. No issues for me.
I can talk about comic books for endless amounts of time. I'm excited to join the forums and hope that there is much stimulating conversation to be had.
BITCHIN!

Hey all.
I'm a brand new fan of the show, and also a fairly new lover of comic books. I've recently discovered the "indy" side of comic books under labels like Icon, Image, Vertigo, and Dark Horse.
I'm currently reading lots and lots of trades, and loving it. Some titles I have on my list to pick up are:
-Whedon's run on Runaways
-Astonishing X-Men (I like Joss' stuff)
-Y the Last Man
-Powers
-Ex Machina
-Criminal
and I'm currently following titles like S.H.I.E.L.D. and Chew. Any recommendations are more than welcome. Looking forward to perusing this forum.

Hey all, I'm DJ-Gonzo, hailing from the dark regions of New Jersey. I think I formerly joined up as Gonzo, but something went wrong with it, so I've this new account. Anywho, I've been on a comic book rise over the last year or so, my favorite titles (old or new) being Batman, Green Lantern, Starman, Daredevil, Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, Preacher, and oh so many more.

Hey all, I'm Azrael1213 just moved up to Stamford, CT. I just discovered iFanboy through their video podcasts when looking through iTunes. I've been watching the videos for a few months and listening to their podcasts when at work and I've found them to be enriching and hilarious.
Keep up the great work guys!

Hello all! Long time comic fan who honestly stumbled upon some iFanboy episodes on YouTube and got hooked! Really really enjoy the show, great guys, and just when I start reaching a point where I'm kind of sick about hearing everything superhero they turn around and grab my attention with a gem like an episode of crime comics or a feature on indies or some great insight on older hero type books that I have never heard of (Miracleman/Marvelman for example).
Like I say, been a comic reader since the 80's, there was a good 5-8 year gap in there though and now I have been back collecting for a good 10-12 years again with the past few years really feeling like I did as a kid as far as really getting excited about newer comics and really digging in to the past as well.
I've always been more of a fan of alternative/indie comics. Those are what made a much bigger impact in my life growing up than the superhero stuff. I remember going to a couple of local shops and having to ask to see the "adult comics" that we're kept in a couple of boxes behind the counter as opposed to the regular racks. Guys like Peter Bagge (The Bradley's, Neat Stuff, Hate), Jim Woodring (Jim, Frank), Gilbert Shelton (Freak Brothers) and Daniel Clowes (Eightball) had a huge impact on me and still do to this day. Especially Peter Bagge. Love his Bradleys family stuff and Hate.
These days, I'm reading:
-Criminal, Fatale, Gotham Central and anything else Brubaker has his name on
-The Bulletproof Coffin
-The new Animal Man series is really impressing me right now
-The new Swamp Thing is good, but has yet to blow me away.....BUT I think that is coming!
-and I have a son who is 6 and I am REALLY enjoying the before bed stories because we have started reading some select comics together as a part of our before sleep reading time. Spongebob comics being a favorite of both of ours
That's me. Glad to be here and looking forward to more iFanboy videos in the future on the main site.
