most of the episode had nothing to do with film stuff, but it was amazing... u guys should do a variety show on top of film riot
and the red steel 2 spot... THAT is how you do advertising in internet videos. Everyone else that still reads a copy or plays a TV-like ad take note and get with the times.

At first I was like "nah they're not gonna show ---" Oh there it goes. How you guys can laugh while throwing up I will never know, but that was hilarious to watch. Also, cameras.

I really love each week's episode of Film Riot. I always learn so much.
This week I was so happy I could fast forward through all the nonsense.

I agree it's getting away from teaching film stuff, but I'm fine with where it's going. Hell, with diggnation severly lacking in the funny stupid shit department lately theres plenty of room in my watch time for film riot :)
like I said, u guys should do a variety show too

I enjoy the show when it isn't all about film stuff. I find it just entertain. I don't do any type of filming but I love Film Riot and I watch it religiously.
I have not seen three men so happy to vomit in my entire life. God Ryan was laughing so hard, plus according to Tim he peed some.

I can't believe you all puked!
Ryan, I like all the DSLR videos. Keep it up. I just got the T2i and figured that I would document my learning curve so I created a site called LearningDSLRVideo.com. The site shows me making all sorts of mistakes. :)

alright. lets go ahead and clear the air..... on a scale from 1 to 10 on if i in fact peed a little bit, we'll just go ahead and say that it was probably a solid 8. if not a 9. but i'm not a mathematician so there's really no way of knowing what happened. glad you enjoyed watching me and ryan give bruno $100 each whilst violently vomiting all over the yard. it was a good time. i haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

This episode was amazing!
I really wouldn't be surprised if you peed a little timmy! That was F'in hilarious!
...again... I wasn't expecting to see the vomit... but surely enough... well done sirs! + loved the Anchorman reference from ryan there.
...like I've said before, I would love to see a review of the T2i (which I own) and the 7d reviewed side by side Film Riot style!
Good job with the Red Steel ad... I've never enjoyed ads but FR does them the best, and makes them fun to watch.
If you come and visit us english people ...or wanna fly me over there... I'll let you borrow my 550d :p (worth a try...?)

How do you exactly vomit from milk? Is it that bad? :] If it was ridden with alcohol perhaps I could see why..
This episode was worth the wait... especially if you count the couple filler episodes just made to wait for this one.
I agree with making the Pentax K7 the number 2 choice. I would really look forward to the T2i and 7D reviews as the technology blogs say that they have almost indistinguishable video quality (though of course this should be coupled with a relatively well-versed person with DSLRs to reproduce).

Actually theres a scientific reason for it.
After you drink a lot of milk, your body goes into whats called Lactic Shock. Basically your body has more lactose in it than it can handle. This is where the 1 gallon milk challenge comes from. Most people, even those who arent generally lactose intolerant can NOT drink a gallon of whole milk in an hour without throwing up.

I know you weren't 100% on board with these cameras, but what you said about them helped me advise a couple different people to go with the Canon 7D. I also just picked up a Zoom h4n and it is awesome. Thanks for all the help, keep up the good work.

I commented before I watched the episode. Wow I haven't laughed that hard for a while. I love how it just seemed normal for them to be throwing up while sitting out on the lawn.

Wow I never knew that. I've been drinking a lot of milk all this time... And on some occasions, I drink more than two glasses. Perhaps if I try a gallon of milk I would also most likely vomit. Lemme try. Haha!

Ryan: Thanks for addressing the sound quality issues with DSLRs. Now please compare their ability to control depth of field. This is THE reason to make movies with a DSLR.

And lets not forget that we are one of the rare species that continues to drink milk after infancy. Lactose intolerance happens to every mammal to some degree. The body becomes allergic to milk as a natural way for the offspring to be weened off of milking from the mothers teet.
The milk we buy at the store is WAY different from the milk that comes directly from the cow to make it more palatable to post-infancy bodies. My family from Tenn. has milk cows and kept a gallon of "direct-from-cow" milk in the fridge for certain cooking recipes and one day when visiting them I accidentally used it in my morning cereal. I threw up after afew spoons of it.
