I'd like to thank this man publicly. Don't know if it has been done before but it NEEDS to be done. Me and a friend of mine are now 4 seasons into the best t.v. show ever and can't get enough. Its uncomfortable, its off the wall, it makes you think, and it makes you remember the hard decisions that are always made by people who we trust.
Also thanks to the guys for puzzle quest, its now my go to during flight paths in WoW.

Also thanks to the guys for puzzle quest, its now my go to during flight paths in WoW.You need to grab the Bejewelled and Peggle addons that Popcap put out for WoW. It automatically creates a timed game for the duration of your flight path.

Which one is Jeff again?
(joking)
I am just pissed that my travel and his performances - stage or improv - never lined up.

Jeff's the one whose taste I find most similar to my own. All four of the guys kick ass in their own ways, though. That's what I think makes the show work.
But yeah, thanks.
Are you trying to break up the band?!?
Of course, a Cannata solo album sounds intriguing ...

Jeff is cool but I'm more of a Dan man myself. He's just so damn entertaining.

Dan: The Brain. He analysis and reacts to his intellectual take on things.
Alex: The Gut. He's pure instinct. He takes things as they come and strike him at the time.
Jeff: The Heart. He internalizes things emotionally and that informs his opinion of them.
The three of them together make an unbeatable combination.

Besides recommending great shows, I'm always amazed that Jeff takes the time to answer all the fan e-mails. That's truly admirable.

I have to say Jeff, even though it is not really about TRS, I love that you are now doing a video game only podcast. I always looked forward to your video game reviews and discussions, but it always ended before you could really get into it.
Jeff is my long lost twin. we're the same, except i have no interest in acting.

Jeff gets alittle too weepy w/ the chick flicks for me, but to each their own. I guess I'm more of an "Alex personality".. gimme some popcorn (or nachos) and show me some shootouts, explosions, and some fights... good times.

That's just the perfect way of putting it.
Also, Jeffrey's awesome. Even though his hyperboles are sometimes as over-the-top as they come (the infamous "fascinating" Braid review, incidentally one of my favourites of his), his reviews are really dripping with heart, soul and sincerity. When one of the other hosts asks him what he thought of something, he rarely bluntly states his opinion in the first sentence. Building up with what he expected of it, making connections between the reviewee and his own personal life and emotions - he's really a joy to listen to even if you don't agree with him.

my personality in describing things and enjoyment of games and movies is alex. But jeff showed me the shield, and for that he must be thanked.

Thanks Jeff I appreciate the work you put into the show, I wasn't able to check out your play but I hope for continued success in all your en-devours!

Totally agree!
Out of the 3 my tastes are more similar with Jeff's. He is so passionate when he talks about stuff that he likes. I'm exactly the same way and my friends lovingly make fun of me, but at least I know that I'm not the only one that acts like that lol.
Also have to say that Jeff was amazing in the Psychic and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see him act live.
As much as I love Jeff though I will say that Dan has opened me up to watching many movies that I wouldn't normally watch.

One thing I noticed is that Alex tends to be more vocal on Diggnation (probably because Kevin is less so), than on TRS. Otherwise it's pretty much the same.
I think thats because Diggnation is meant to be more of a drinking party w/ some interesting stories, and TRS is a more of a PG-13ish rated review show. Also that Dan kinda runs the Movie segment, Jeff has the Games... Alex has tv shows? (TV segments are few and far between.. MORE TV segments!!!) And reads alot of the emails so there isnt alotta room for him to get too animated/boisterous. I also bet that Dan's lowkey demeanor can keep things more mellow (and not shaving Batman in people's hair LOL).
BTW, TRS crew... even if I got some criticisms about some things... you guys do a great show and are great together on screen.. to prove it... I dont own any consoles, only play afew PC games (you rarely review PC games anyway) but I still watch all the game reviews anyway cause UR reviews are just fun to watch. You guys could review sushi,Thai or Indian food (all of which I cant stand) and I'd prolly find it an enjoyable watch.
jeff totally rules the "Game" section, and his luv/zeal of gaming entertainment is refreshing and enjoyable
I guess I was being a bit daft, but I resigned myself to not being able to watch Jeff's Reviews on the Run as they are done for the Canadian G4TV. Not thinking very new media - they are available for viewing online (durp).

I want to thank Jeff for recommending The Up Series. I was watching the UK election returns and realized that, holy crap, the Liberal Democrat in the Carlisle constituency was Neil from that series. I managed to watch that whole thing, based on Jeff's recommendation, just in time to see the guy on tv. Oh, and I guess for all the other awesome stuff he does, like TRS.

Great thread. I haven't emailed the show lately, but back when I had the time to, Jeff was always the one who answered. I would just say what I had to say and didn't even expect a response, then one would come from Jeff. That's the best kind of fan service. Thanks for taking the time Jeff, and great to see you on Reviews on the Run.
