My thought is Barton Fink, in the hotel at the end, when John Goodman comes running down the hall with a shotgun screaming something like "I am the life of the mind!"

Okay, three guesses: The Matrix Reloaded, Frequency, or that movie with Juaquin Pheonix and John Travolta where they're firefighters.

Let's do some analysis: It appears to be the start or expansion of a very big fire, in an industrial or very spartan building, and there appears to be water or some other liquid at the front of the door between knee and hip height. The door appears to have a window in it designed to allow people to look in and out of it.

More guesses: The Ninth Gate, Waterworld, Flashdance.

A movie doesn't need to be perfect to be enjoyable.
