If you are referring to the Intel Core i3 CPU, it's a CPU, it can do any thing. If you are asking if it is fast enough, well, that depends on what software you use. Some blu-ray playback software relies very little on the CPU instead preferring to decode video on the graphics card. For the most part it will be fast enough.

For the most part it will be fast enough.I'm talking about the integrated GPU in the Core i3. I'm going to buy the CyberLink PowerDVD 10.
