Why iFanboy?

Whats the name about, I mean there is no Apple there, just books, that was an Excellent name for a Mac Podcast. How does iFanboy relate to books?

We started the site in early 2000. Comic fans are typically, often derisively referred to as "fanboys," and we thought it would be clever to call it iFanboy, since it was on the internet, and the use of "e" had become gauche. Only years after that did the ipod become ubiquitous. Honestly, none of us had heard the term used for apple fans until very recently.

So basically, it has nothing to do with Apple, and everything to do with interactive fanboys. If that's what it stands for. We're really not sure on that.
