A friend of my husbands fixed our computer after it crashed recently and downloaded windows xp professional. I dl itunes version 7 and it won't open. It says a problem has occurred and needs to shut down. Can anyone help me?

I doubt it's an iTunes problem - but more likely a Windows problem. I'd say take it up with your husband's friend and see if he can see any problems with the installation.

I had a virtual machine keep doing that, it's because the USB drivers werent installed properly.

What are the exact words of the error message? Any code numbers?
