This show is still sponsored by Verizon/Droid after Kevin Rose bashed it publicly on diggnation? How does a CEO come out and bash a product that is funding his company and still keep the partnership? He said very plainly "the apps suck" and yet they still sponsor it? The PR people at Rev3 must be Guru's to be able to hold on to a sponsorship after bashing the product. He also went on to say the Droid Incredible felt cheap and was overly complex. Rose has iron balls, it's like walking up to a customer and saying "damn that outfit makes you look fat" and then they still come and shop in your store cause.... ya know..... you're just that bad ass.

Hi... just FYI, Kevin is not CEO of Revision3. Those are his personal opinions, and there are a lot of Android users who enjoy their platform.

Okay, I thought Kevin was CEO of Rev3 because Jay stepped down but I forgot Jay was CEO of digg not Rev3. SO then Prager must be CEO of Rev3 right. Regardless of their official titles, I am sure Kevin still has a big hand in Rev3 and the show is hosted through the Rev3 site.
It's not exactly a personal opinion if you blast it out to over 100,000 viewers. Don't you think if you guys really cared about the droid sponsorship thing they might have just edited it out. Even I don't think the droid is totally without it's positive sides. The whole thing was just very confusing.

Editing editorial content out of a show is a breach of editorial integrity and not something that Revision3 is willing to do. It is still Kevin's personal opinion regardless of how many people he can reach.

Exactly and I understand that, you gotta bring home the bacon and keep the lights on. I have to setup Symantec Corporate AV systems even though I think they are crap because it pays the bills. We're all selling something.... thats why like I said, Iron balls man, Iron balls. I can speak plainly about how I feel about a product outside of work but to do it while you are making a show powered by the people you are criticizing takes guts. I salute you Mr. Rose!
