Making an Image

I have 2 CD/DVD drives, and play lots of games that need the cd in the drive.

So I want to make an image of the cds, and run them with alcohol120% or something like that..

What is the best program to do so, eveyone I have found seems to just not work.

Have you tried WinISO? The CD might have some kind of copy protection. You can get no-cd cracks from www.gamecopyworld.com and since you own the game i would consider it legal.

Alcohol%120 will actually make the images as well as play them via virtual drives. It also takes into account a copy protection that may be in the game. You just have to specify what type of CD it is. No need to look for cracks.

I have a real version of Alcohol120, i have been using that for years, I just never made an image....that sounds great

I have made the images of games I want, but the only one I am having troubles with and I assumed I would is NFS Most Wanted.

The image is made, I mount it, click run and it asks to put the correct cd in, is there away around this copy protection crap...?

Did you pick the right protection scheme when making the image?

I don't know, I had customize on, and I selected everything.

I believe it uses a version of SafeDisc 4.+, so pick the SafeDisc 3.2 (2/3) or higher, depends on your version of Alcohol%120.
