My background is a Web Developer/Computer Programmer, but I'm really into making music. I'd like to get better and eventually do freelance work. A friend suggested I get into making music for Indie games and see if anything comes of it.

The problem is, I'm having a hard time finding (good) projects.

The same friend suggested I come to this forum, ask where I can find some projects, and link to some of my recent material.

I'm not sure if I'm up-to-snuff as far as mainstream game music design, but I do think that some indie project could benefit from what I can do. What is the best place to find an indie project to join?

Because some of the songs on my soundcloud account aren't relevant (mash ups, song with my vocals, remixes), here's a short list of a few of my fav songs I think can demonstrate what I can do for an indie game.

Sorry if this isn't the appropriate forum for this.
