i agree... although leaving the leaves in the cup can lead to some bad tasting tea, its up to the person drinking it.

one thing i never understood was how there is a right way to eat or drink things such as tea, beer, wine, etc. As long as the person eating or drinking it enjoys it then its the right way.

Agreed. That boxed wine a lot of people like to scoff at, the white zinfandel kind is yummy when chilled with peaches. Why is a pricier wine automatically better tasting? Better to whom? Just try to have a dozen people at the table who all like the same dish salted and peppered the same. People don't have to like the same things, and it's got nothing to do with a "refined palate." I see that phrase as another way to say "taste essentially trained to think that something tastes better because someone else says so."

I just had a cup of good ol' Lipton black tea, two tea bags, with Splenda. I drink a variety of things, from that to Fenugreek to a loose chai blend. It's all good.
