I remember a very long time ago on TV…I think I was watching Nickelodeon or some other kid show. From what I remember you were in a new pilot Star Trek kid show. You were dressed up as a Klingon this new show was focused on the point of view of a Klingon Captain.

Now that I think of it. I believe Leonard Nimoy had a show on Nickelodeon.

He played Wesley Crusher a HUMAN on Star Trek The Next Generation.

Will pretty much does not want to be known for that in how he expresses himself and rather be known as a tech geek.

Yes, Wil's thoughts and feelings about his history on Star Trek are pretty much public record and should be considered off topic for these forums.

As much as I like Star Trek, and as proud as I am of my time on that show, this forum is about InDigital. I occasionally post about Star Trek in my own blog, or at TV Squad, so those are more appropriate places for that topic.

I know he played Wesley Crusher. I'm talking about a pilot TV show that never saw the day of light. That show has been bugging me for years now.

Its not listed on his wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wil_wheaton). Google doesn't hit anything relevant either.

That being said, I have to say I actually enjoyed TNG with Wil in it, mainly because there was someone actually my age on the show. I also got a kick out of seeing him appear on The Screen Savers a few times. (Damn I miss that show!) Glad to see you're still around. :)

I'd like to ask Wil how he feels about his former "Stand by Me" co-star, Jerry O'Connell, shacking up with Rebbecca Romain.

But then, that would also be off-topic.

No disrespect to wil as I like him on Indigital but hated the character of wesley crusher..as the character was too much of a mammas boy overachiever..maybe that is because in Utah you see alot of that :p

But Wil himself seems like a real cool guy.

Like it or not that is a badge you will wear for the rest of your life no matter what. you could become president and you will still get ST Questions. Their are Closet ST Geeks in every aspect of life.
With that said, I really think of you as more of a tech host/geek then a ST Character after seeing you for years on Old TechTV and Indigital. If someone Said your name to me on the street my first thought would be TechTv or Indigital.

PS: For the love of god someone please Delete that thread about Jessica and your walnuts.

He's just saying it's off topic seeing how Star Trek has nothing to do with InDigital.

umm, somehow someone's question about Wil being on a pilot kids show suddenly turned into a "Wil's view on Star Trek TNG" Is there anyone on these forums that actually read more than the title of the thread?

And it is somewhat about InDigital. Your a host. The show is about you, not saying I want to see threads about the history of the hosts. But some fan just wants to know something.

Wil (note: 1 l not 2 l's) has made his stand pretty clear.

If you want to read more on Wil's past and present, please go take a look at his blog (WWdN: In Exile (http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/)).

As for this forum? Please respect Wil's wishs and keep it to inDigital content.
