As much as I hate PayPal, I'm calling fake on that big opencamp complaint. Or, at least, something is seriously wrong there and that is by far not the norm.
America is really into lawyers and all that so I'm sure you can find a lawyer to talk to about it but I'm sure none of that is standard PayPal procedure and none of it is legal. Maybe its a phisher or something calling for random information (perhaps someone who noticed it through the opencamp website).
I've been selling non-tangible goods (software) for years on PayPal, and while it annoys the hell out of me that non-tangible sellers have absolutely zero protection (no physical signed tracking = 100% of chargebacks return money to buyers, even if you delivered the product) what happened with my business account was I made my first £5000 and they put a hold on my account while they investigated it for money laundering. I called PayPal, using a ridiculously hard to find phone number buried somewhere on their site, and the excellent phone support unlocked my account immediately.

I've never liked PayPal or using their service, but now I will be sure NOT to use anything PayPal related ever again! If any company requires using PayPal, I'll just go elsewhere to buy a product. Period!

After an absence of about a year or two, I return to Geekbr...beat. And the format ist still great, all I ask for would be the show number returning to the title, it's easier to sort out what I already saw and what I want to see next.
At the end of the video it actually says: "another episode is coming up : Geekbeat #5". I just would like it so have it in the title as well.

I dislike PayPal also, although I personally have never had a problem with them, but they are the 800 pound gorilla in the industry and there is little other choice. Especially if you want to buy or sell on eBay.
