Silly to assume that the Quicktime HD podcasts would sync with iPhone 4?

I would also like to see this, I have tried an older episode of Systm in HD and it works fine. Not sure what happened to the newer episodes.

I think it's the same reason that they won't sync with the iPad - neither the iPad nor the iPhone support Rev3's H264 profile, as explained here:

I too would like to see it changed, as at the moment I'm having to throw everything through Handbrake and reencode it to 720p for the iPhone - it works okay and it's not too much of a hassle for one or two episodes but it gets tedious after a while. :(
