Thats awesome but you don't need to post every single episode that comes out. This doesnt just piss me off with you but also with everyone else and it just happens that I keep noticing GeekCore episodes on the board. Maybe just unlucky for you. Go search "User Podcast Directory" on the board and plug your show there.

Make revision3 look like crap? Hahahaha. I am not the one posting my "wannabee" podcast on revision3. Hahahaha.

Just because it's not a official rev3 podcast it's a wannabe? That is pretty lame to say. Is Twit a wannabe because it's not rev3? Is DL.TV a wannabe because it's not a rev3? Rev3 isn't the GOD to podcasts and internet tv. And I was on thebroken.org forum so I am not just some ****ing newbie on the street. Just because it doesn't have Alex or Kevin or any rev3 members in a production of any kind doesn't mean it isn't good.

So take the rev3 kevin rose fanboy stick out of your butt and move on. I notice a lot of people post there stuff and you don't say dick. So don't feed me that you do it to everyone else crap. GO LOOK UP YOUR OWN POSTS! and yes I did see the Podcast directory post. One reply and nobody seemed to care about it.

So I posted it here. I have posted all 5 ep's so far and no mods or anyone else has e-mailed me, PM'd me about it or said dick about me posting it but you. Just because your not a mod doesn't mean you can go around and shit on other people. I have been around WAY longer before you were. So bite me ass-tard.

I am done with this community, I have been around like I said since before thebroken.org was even around. I was a WELL known member of thebroken.org forums, I ran the official IRC chat with Ray and them. So don't go barking up the "I have been around longer" tree with me pal.

I am done with this community and the fan boy assholes.

There is a significant difference between discussing something that was on Twit, or DL.TV, or even on your podcast ... and the blatant self promotion of your podcast by yourself.

In the rules and regs of the forums (you have been around through multiple iterations so you should know the story by now) ...

2a. You may NOT advertise another competitor's website/forum/product/etc.
2b. You may plug or link to another website only if it doesn't break other rules.
2c. Do not spam your personal web sites or forums. You may link to them in your signature, but please limit them to there.

There is actually a lot of tolerance on this, especially for new podcasters, but advertising your FIFTH podcast in the forums really is pushing it.

Regarding personal podcasts, there is a problem here. Over in the not so uber secret mod forums, we discussed the idea of creating a new forum for people's personal podcasts that were NOT Rev3 products, since they don't really belong in the General Discussion Area, and they definitely don't belong in the Pilot Show Area (that implies that they are being piloted by Rev3).

The problem is this ... what if, sometime down the road Rev3 bring out a podcast that is a lot like yours. What if it becomes successful and a "flagship" product? What if you then point to a post that has you pitching an idea, or pointing your podcast and saying "Heeeeeey. That was MY idea. I am going to sue Rev3 for the lost advertising revenue."

In Hollyweird this is why studios (TV/Movie) don't accept unsolicited scripts. Anyone remember the court case regarding The Matrix between the Wachowski Bros and the woman who claimed to have submitted the same script several years earlier? It was thrown out in court, but tied up legal resources on both sides for ages.

So, yeah, discuss your podcast, what you are doing, how you are doing it, what you need help with ... just don't keep advertising a new episode when it comes out. Thats what YOUR website and forums are for, not Rev3's.
