blue gender-Am I the only one who cant stand this show

I started watching out of a friends recommendation and well I cant stand it. I am around when they meet the nomads in the desert. I just am not hooked yet should I power through or is all hope lost.

I got into anime and comics thanks to Lupin (Lupon) and the first 3 Ghible Films. I have a good taste in anime, This I have been told is on the same level as Evangelion but I just cant believe that.

I wouldn't say Blue Gender was the best anime I ever saw, but I did like the relationship that developed between the two main characters.

In general though, I've noticed that my taste in anime is not the same as other anime fans. I love Bo-bo-bo bobobobo, but other people on this forum are like --- what the heck!!! I think Evangelion is boring, but other guys can't stop talking about how great it is.

If you don't like the two main characters (Yugi and Marlene), then just stop watching. Those two characters are the best part of the anime IMO.

I liked it, btw. It's forgettable, though.

I didn't find Blue Gender that great. There are a lot better series besides that. Its like Starship Troopers only with less action and more about relationship and the story. It's not really that great other than being a good time killer.


I watched it cause it was showing on TV on AS.
