It's really simple, actually. The original purpose of the internet was to build a universal content archive that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. It's therefore crucial that content never gets removed. It's not about "retro-cool" than rather about keeping everything where it was, if it ever needed to be found at a later time. Sadly, noone really cares about that principle anymore and nowadays, content gets moved without redirection or hint to the new location and most don't keep online what once was, because we now depend too much on search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo...
And who cares about Ford's Edsel? Go to an automotive museum, if you must, they should have one there.

I believe that would be the Ford Edsel, which actually survived into the 60's.....or at least into 1960 since that was the last model made....oops.

Two stick out in my mind right now. The Ford Edsel and the Peel P50. The Peel was built in the 60's though, so that rules it out. So I'm going to go with the Edsel, the car that looks like it's sucking a lemon.

Yup, it was the Ford Edsel, which interestingly was named after Edsel Ford. It was said, it "looked like an Oldsmobile, sucking a lemon." Which is the complete quote! Hehehe :D

It was the Ford Edsel for sure. I was a little late to this party, lol. I just found out this show existed!

Well... I guess I am car geek as well as a tech geek. I knew this one before he even finished the question.
Ford Edsel.
Named after his son. A shame that everyone hated the car. It's kinda cool looking NOW. Not BORING like most of todays cars (they all look the same).

It's the Ford Edsel.
Man, I hope I win this prize actually. Reading Daemon in paperback at work per Tom's suggestion and it's FANTASTIC! Was looking to get Freedom next to read at work but not quite willing to pay for hardcover just yet and paperback not until next year. I'm crossing my fingers.

You are correct sir! It was the Ford Edsel. I hope the hardback won't be too heavy to carry about.

I know it's too late to win but I'd like to say aside from the Edsel, the DeLorean is a great candidate too!

Wouldn't this the 1st Generation Thunderbird being the "prototype" for the 11th Generation (and last) Thunderbird (you know the retro-styled one)...
