I think u guys have been had. Blindtype looks way fake to me. IMHO, it wouldn't be hard to fake that video and the word corrections look too perfect. Now I could be wrong, as I can understand how "wzrwmkt" can become "extremely" when a computer shifts each character over 1 key and deciphers the word.. but these handhelds are not super computers so I don't think this is legit. To change, "Ot is ecgfdndky tokdgsby ro ghlinh ettoys." to "It is extremely tolerant to typing errors." would require a bit of computing power to go through a vast word dictionary, etc.

Not sure if it was sarcasm, but it sounded convincing when Alex said he doesn't like Starcraft type games (nor Red Dead Redemption)...

I'm not a huge gamer, but isn't Starcraft and World Of Warcraft both RPGs? I know Alex likes WoW, so what's the difference?

Starcraft is an RTS.

I had seen that keyboard video before. To me, it seems rather gimmicky.

It also doesn't look nearly as fast as Swype. I have been using Swype on my Evo for a couple of months now and I really, really like it.

I was surprised that Kevin needed to save for a down payment on a house. Figured he had that kind of coin banked already or else his idea of a house may dwarf my expectations of home ownership lol! Glad he is feeling better and sorry to hear about the GF getting sick. Just make sure you two don't keep trading germs back and forth ;)

i'm sure he has more than enough for a house. he was probably just being coy about that whole thing.

RTS vs. RPG

RPGs are oriented around building your character, levelling up, doing quests, etc.

RTS (Starcraft) are about managing armies in both combat and resource collection.

This is of course just my opinion. But, I think RPG's may be a bit easier to play than RTS games. Does anyone else find this to be true? I love World of Warcraft because I find that the game play is more "forgiving" (for a lack of a better term) than SC2. And I haven't even ventured into the multi-player arena on SC2 as I have enough trouble fending off the computer's AI! WoW is the first video game I've ever really played and that was only because I wanted to spend time with my husband ;)

And yes, sometimes it does get frustrating when Kevin mentions something to Alex and then decides he'd best not continue to share while on the air. But, I guess that's to be expected with a shoot that doesn't involve retakes. The off the cuff discussions are probably one of the most appealing parts of the show and one of the main reasons I love to watch.
