I am doing a film fest in a month or so where I only have 72 hours to film and edit my stuff. I need a program I can work with fast and get to know easily. I also might want to use after effects so Im currently leaning towards adobe. I want to know what everyone thinks. I dont have much experience but Im ready to learn.

Thanks,
Tom

Get your hands on both and see for yourself. It's all about preference, really. Try them both.

depends on your workflow.

I am familiar with both but I prefer how Final Cut works and how it integrates with the rest of the Final Cut Studio package.

if you like how Adobe software works, it might make sense to give Premere a try cause it has that "adobe" feel to it and integrates with AfterEffects and whatnot easily.

give both a try and make a call from there.
