I think I've messed up my Digg account because my front page is showing articles with only 1 Digg as opposed to those with hundreds. I'm guessing I need to change my settings since the new Digg has been released but I'm not sure what to do. I also don't have any stories submitted by users, every thing is from either a magazine or news source like Forbes or BBC. The only story on my first page where I've recognized the submitter is one from the blog Kevin's girlfriend writes; and it only had 2 Diggs.
It's sort of silly but I always get a kick when the guys choose to talk about a story that I read and maybe even Dugg. I know, it's dumb. But, that's why I'm asking for help.
I'm not much of a techie so any and all help figuring this out will be appreciated!

It's not your settings. They basically changed the recent stories framework so that there is no longer a minimum digg threshold, and it's now based on some kind of new "diversity algorithm" they've implemented, which I think is pretty stupid considering it was totally fine how it was. Now we're seeing stories with like 20 diggs and 2 comments on the front page. According to Kevin, they're still making tweaks to the algorithm, but I really don't see why they felt the need to change it in the first place. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Thank you Frozen for the reply. I'm sort of sad about the changes, Digg used to be a lot of fun to read. Hopefully some of the tweaks will bring that feeling back.

I think in his eyes it was broke. Wasn't mainstream enough and wasn't growing. Personally I'm with you, I like digg how it was.
The main page is the latest submissions from the people you follow, so they're new. Top News has the top dugg stories like the old digg.
