I just got my new MBP and am very new to apple, so my question is: Does anyone know how to turn the iCAM on the Mac Book Pro into a video recorder? I've been wanting to do a podcast for a while now and i figured the best ay to get started is to make the camera a video recorder. i haven't had any luck figuring it out yet....please help if you have any suggestions

thnx

Open iMovie HD, at the splash screen select Create a new project.

In the box that pops up, the bottom of the box should have video format in it. Select iSight (thats what the camera's called by the way, not iCam or whatever) Click create.

IN the window that cmes up, towards the bottom there shouuld be a little slider/toggle that has a pair of scissors on one side, and a camera on the other. Just click on the camera.
