Has anyone been able to confirm the line up for Fantastic Four? I have seen various previews showing Thing and Jonny Storm with Storm and Black Panther. Is this a red herring, or perhaps the real thing hiding in plain sight?

It's gonna be MODOK and 3 AIM henchmen.
The only real news I've heard is the two covers that have been doing the rounds, one showing Black Panther, Storm, Human Torch and the Thing, and the other showing Galactus, Ego and some other guys. No way is Ego gonna be one of the new fantastic four (as cool as that would be - can you imagine trying to write him into the story every month?).

I guess Galactus has free time to kill between devouring worlds.
I really hope that it is Thing, Torch, Storm and BP but I have no idea how this is actually going to play out. The only thing that I know for certain is that I'm annoyed with Marvel for all the ridiculous viral marketing attempts. We 'accidentally' released it or it was a 'leak' or here this is but we can't tell you what it is.
Enough already let it play out or tell us but stop messing with me

It looks like they will officially be an outlaw team if all goes the way it looks. But also, if you remember, Tony and Reed discussed recently that they had a certain number of pardons(12 I think). Given this, I don't think that Reed or anyone will ever be actively chasing Johnny, Sue, or Ben after CW has ended

I would think that there is very little chance that it's the second team.

yes it is. It will spin out of a new crossover series called Infinite Civil War where the universes collide. Fans will vote on who will survive and despite that Marvel will let Jason Todd live and make him a member of the FF

Seriously, though, at first I was like, "you can't have a new Fantastic Four," but then I remembered that when I first read the FF, She-Hulk was a member and I had no idea for like, 2 years, who the Thing was.

It (http://www.fantasticfourmovie.com/) had something to do with the Fantastic Four. I think it (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486576/) had something (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantastic_Four:_Rise_of_the_Silver_Surfer) to do with why the "new" Fantastic Four would turn out to be the "old" Fantastic Four. I've always found him to be a pompous, self-obsessed douche. This is of course only my opinion.
There are specific examples that I could point to but I don't even really want to spend the time on him. He just annoys me. He always has(even before CW) and he probably always will.

I kinda like Reed. If you read the early Kirby/Lee issues of Fantastic Four, he is usually demeaning Sue in some way. And he smoked a pipe too. Very pompous indeed.

At first, I thought it was really weird. I mean, I like Black Panther (Storm, is ok), but it just seemed weird to me to not see Reed and Sue there. But granted, the “New FF” line-ups have been ever weirder before in the past and seemed to turn out pretty cool.
But what the heck is Black Panther going to do against Galactus?

So I was thinking about the FF lineup during my trip to get an afternoon snack. I think for me, it was hard to digest Storm as part of the line-up b/c I can only think of her as being an x-man. (and yes, I know Wolverine has been on the FF, but what superhero team hasn’t he been on at this point?). Black Panther seems ok since he really isn’t associated with any other team currently.
Steve's design is cool. it needs more camo though

I always associate Black Panther with The Avengers. But then, I always associate Beast with The Avengers, too.

I not sure if I'll pick up FF after CW. I mean if it is Storm and BP, that's a cool idea, but I don't if it's enough to make me get the book. Now if it were: The Thing, Johnny Storm, Punisher and Blade, well then you just have a strange ass book that I don't know if I could say no to.

But with the FF they could get some laughs out of it. On JLA the idea is just to fill in some spaces. With FF, you're filling the vacant slots of very popular heroes. Plus you have the matching costumes. Lots of opportunity for Odd Couple dynamics.
I guess. I just feel like long team selection/change processes take away form solid stories that they could be doing. The story of who you choose to be your lawyer is nowhere near as interesting as choosing to go to court in your pajamas. looking at you jacko
