I wonder if Penn ever gets the sneaking suspicion that, while the far right his wooing him now, should they ever come to power they're going to attack ideas that he's in favor of (porn and various civil liberties, keeping religion out of public schools, atheism in general)?

edit - a slew of spelling errors

I don't agree at all that Manson should have been charged with those murders that he did not take part in. He has the freedom to say what he feels, and the others have free will. How do you draw a distinction between Manson's speech and others actions. Perhaps you also believe that since Malcolm X said "by any means necessary" that makes him guilty of any actions taken by those who heard those words which they thought were necessary. I agree with a great deal of what you say, but on this I do not. At what point do you draw the line. It would seem that if you take this idea to it's logical conclusion you must punish those who speak freely for the actions of those who listen and are moved to action. I believe people should be held accountable by law for their actions not for their beliefs. Isn't that the definition of free speech. I would very much like to hear what you have to say about this.

P.S. If you use the yelling fire in a crowded theater argument I'm going to fly to Vegas and slap you up side the head with my dick which at that point would be my right and duty. hahah
