Please Pick up Cranky Geeks!

For those of you that don't know, John Dvorak made a few comments in the last episode about Cranky Geeks only having one more episode left and then in a comment on his own blog (post #18 - http://www.dvorak.org/blog/2010/09/16/cranky-geeks-episode-236/#comments) it's basically a problem where the current company wasn't happy with the revenue the format was generating.

I love a lot of the Rev. 3 shows and I love Cranky Geeks. You guys really should try to pick John up and keep Cranky Geeks alive...

+1. It'd probably be too much hassle to get the CrankyGeeks name and rights. Do a similar show with John, theres nothing else like it around!

I'd beat Leoville will get first crack at Dvorak.
I'd like to see John on Revision3, but suspect Leo will offer a more compatible format.

Not that it really matters. This is the web. Whoever picks John up is just a RSS feed away.

Not sure where John will end up but I hope that he will be on a show that is in similar length and style. TWiT is too long for me.

Have to say, I can see that show going to twit long before here. It doesn't fit this network at all, it's more old radio style. Twit is really on the move right now, fear not, Leo and John are tight, I'm very confident there will be something like it on twit's network.

I am really sad to see this show go as I really liked it, same with his show he used to have on TechTV.

I wouldn't be too shocked to see him do something with Leo.

PCMag owns the name Cranky Geeks. Both Roger Chang and David Prager have been on the show in recent weeks; so, if there's any chance of JCD coming to Rev3 - it's in the works.

But, who really knows what John wants to do next.

Cranky Geeks was great fun most of the time.

Bring Cranky Geeks to Rev 3 and turn it into a ten minute daily show featuring one guest per day book-ended by ads. Oh, and the interviews will be done while jet-skiiing, sitting down is too boring.

Seeing how close John and Leo are, I'd expect to see John end up on the TWIT network.

Tekzilla is NOT a tech news show, more of a "Call for Help" type. That said, if Rev3 has a chance to sign Dvorak, go for it! If not they should really think of having this type of tech news round table talkshow on their schedule. I'd watch it but if not with Dvorak, who would they have to get to make it worth watching...?
