Halo graphic novel, open it, or ebay it?

So one of my friends who loves Halo, and knows I like comics got me Halo the graphic novel as a gift. I really dont have any interest in it but maybe one of you has an opinion on it and can change my mind. So the fate of this book lies in your hands, shall I break the celophane off this and read it or ebay it for some Halo fanatic to enjoy?

I'd say that it is pretty good for rabid Halo fans, but otherwise you might not be that interested. The art is good though.

It's largely considered to be a disappointment. Didn't Peter David write it?

Give it a read, then eBay it.

But as to the Halo GN, it was pretty terrible. Some nice art in there, but otherwise pretty pointless. Halo doesn't have a strong enough storyline or cast to make a comic book adaptation. Your friend obviously put some thought into the gift however, and if you think he'd take offence at you selling it on, you probably shouldn't. Buying comics for someone as a gift is very difficult for people that don't know anything about them. If you think he won't mind though... go for it!

Haha, thanks for the comments. I barely play any Halo so I don't think I will decrease the value by opening it, ebay it is.

Yours is one of my favorites....they talk about the banner like it's a family member, haha.


As for Halo, I've flipped through it a few times at B&N, and while it has some cool art, I think that's all it has. I'd ebay it.
