I make this killer fruit salad that I brought to our work party

3 Cans of dole tropical fruit drained
1 can of dole pineapple (in it's own juice) drained
2 cans dole of madarian oranges drained
1 container of sugar free strawberry pie glaze (usually found in the fresh fruit section)

Mix together and refridgerate

It was the most popular thing at our work party... and simple to make!

Velveeta and Salsa

I swear it's better than any chile con queso you can buy....but it depends on the salsa you buy though try a mild-chunky salsa.

We used to bbq tri-tip. And we'd do veggies, salad, chips, guac, you name it.

I like a good ol' bowl of my grandpas chili. It is roughly the shiznit!

Sautee 1 medium onion with 2 stalks of celery diced up in olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Dash of salt helps sweat out the juices.

When the onion is semi transparent and a little golden add your pound of burger. Brown the hamburger and add 1/2 Tbl. Chili powder. I like adding 3 different kinds (ancho chili, Spicy Mexican Chili, and regular generic chili powder). Add 2 tsp. garlic powder. Add 1 tsp. cumin. Once it is good and browned, add 1 can of tomato sauce, and 1 can of V8 juice. The 8 ounce one. Instead of the strait tomato sauce I like taking a can of stewed tomatoes and putting them in a food processor until smooth. It makes it more like halfway in between tomato paste and sauce.

Then just let it sit on the burner on low for a couple of hours until it looses a lot of the moisture in it. Depending on how soupy you like your chili.

You asked for it.

Knorr Leek soup mix
1 container of sour cream

Beats onion dip all the time. It's something most people I know haven't had till they partied with us.

That sounds pretty good....is it a little different from Liptons? or arn't they the same thing.... You know... I hear if you have some beef bullion with onion flakes and onion powder... you MIGHT be able to make your own liptons that is close enough to count.

hmm my fav would have to be sour cream cream cheese nacho dip, you grab a bowl an take your package of cream cheese open it slap that in the bowl and put a couple good sized blobs of sour cream in, use cookie beaters to mix it together. once sufficiently mixed you grab 2 standard sized dinner plates and spread it out on them and add green peppers, chopped up green onions, tomatoes, salsa & finally grated cheese of your choice on top. I really recommend this one, out of all the dips Ive had its the best in my personal opinion. :D

Personally, I've always been partial to the Lipton Tm. Recipe Secrets Onion packets. I mean, they are versatile, cheap, and make a decent dip. Just add sour cream, maybe some chopped up chives, some fresh ground black pepper. Last SuperBowl was rather a let down, lost $500 bucks on that one. Beer makes it better though. Always been partial to a fresh slice of lemon in a Pyramid Heffe.

Either a giant bag of cool ranch Doritos, or tortilla chips with melted Velveeta/chili mix dip (pour canned chili and Rotel on Velveeta brick and microwave :P).
