View Full Version : Anyone know what they do when you report myspace abuse?

I just reported someone for myspace abuse, they keep trying to contact me and add me to their friends, and I've already denied them and marked their messages as spam, and then I look at their profile today and they have blogs about wanting people to help them contact me, so I marked the last message as abuse and told them what was going on, and asked them to remove her profile.
Anyone else had any experience in this?

no... ha ha, the problem i'm actually having is with my mother, she took off 2 years ago, after pretty much destroying everyone and everything in her life and now is like stalking me after i've told her I don't want anything to do with her...
Yeah i'll probably never hear from the electrician again...
I don't know what myspace does, I didn't even know you could do that.
If nothing changes, just do it again, and try and contact myspace.

I doubt myspace will do anything. Might tell her to stop and that will probably be it. When you do contact them they come of as if they are sarcastic, rude, and plain just don't care.

I've had a myspace account for something like 3 years, it's where i keep in touch with my family that is out of town and a lot of people I went to college with that don't live around here anymore, I don't want to give it up just because she's psycho...

Let her know in writing that contact is not welcome, and that any further attempts will be considered harassment and you will file for a restraining order.

the problem i'm actually having is with my motherI moved half way around the world, and my mother keeps tracking me down. Hell, she even called the restaurant I was having lunch at on my wedding day (I eloped).
OK, my Mum isn't too bad ... and I guess leaving the country is a desperate measure anyway.

If they're harassing multiple users, even feedback will probably get their account deleted. All that will probably do is block their email address from having an account, so they can just go make a Hotmail account and have a new MySpace.
As much as it sucks, just keep ignoring them and keep your profile private, that's about all you can do.

there's a way to set up your privacy, so that you only get requests from people who know your last name.

Yeah, but she knows my email address because all my current accounts i've had for over 2 years since before she left, she also emails me at my website email, so yeah...

quick back story on me. i just got back from iraq. been there little over two years up in the northern region getting shot at. i knew about myspace before i left but didn't think much of it. i get back and everyone is on it. and i still don't understand why. it just seems to be some kind of popularity contest. am i wrong? can someone explain.

Just FYI on the situation, either she deleted her account or myspace deleted it for her, she sent me a message titled "sorry" which I never read, but when I opened my messages it said the profile had been deleted... so cool!

:confused: I guess I am confused on why? I read all the this and I am confuse on why you would not keep in touch with your mother? You are really selfish and self centered. She gave birth to you with out her you wouldn't be. You don't have to like what she did but that shouldn't stop you from loveing her. What you are doing to her by not communitating with her is far worse than what she has done to you. You are a selfish person and I am glad I don't know you. When your name become Jeaus Christ then you can judge. Until you walk in there shoes and feel there pains you have NO right to punish others. We are all humans and make misstakes. If your Mother did something to you your best thing is to talk to her and try to heal the hurt.
