Is it possible to download the show you want into a file format and save it

I do not see how to do it...if i right click and say save target as it puts it in html format and no vid file.....I thought there used to be a way to download your favorite shows.....long ago there was one i wanted and there was a link to do so....link is now gone?

Use firefox or chrome not IE, IE can't tell you are right clicking on a link (it thinks you are right clicking on the page).
