configure dual hardrive os

I was wondering if any one could tell me how to set it so i can choose witch hard drive OS to boot form because i plan on putting vista on one drive but keep xp on the other .Yes i know but the second hard drive belongs to my brother and he dose not want me touching it but i want to use vista so if any one can tell me how to do this I would appreciate it .

Vista sets up a boot loader automatically. Just partition your disc beforehand.

The safe way to do it is to load vista on the new drive. After that you should be able to go into bios and switch between which drive you want to boot of first.
