New Idea IR repeater

Hey, guys I've been wondering about building an IR repeater or extender for my home media center, so I can have the stb in a cabinet somewhere. I've looked around at some you can buy, but they are all too expensive and have cheap parts. I would love to see a show built around building a diy, media center with an ir repeater to control everything.
