Hey Rev3 dudes.

Listen, I'm not a big poster or contributor, I'm just a guy that watches your shows. I don't have an agenda or anything like that I just wanted to make a few comments.

I'll start with the positive ones. So people don't just jump to a "troll" conclusion with me.

I love the new TRS. The weekly segments are much easier to digest. I think, when you add it all up, more gets covered. Liking that direction.

Enjoying Penn Point's shows. He runs the gambit of logical and offensive. I don't always agree 100% of the time but I appreciate the point of view. Major Cudos for rev3 for keeping this going.

Diggnation continues to be good. I'll go out on a limb... I'm not a huge fan of their live shows. Sure they're crazier and such.. It just seems like an act during the live shows. Normal episodes seem to bring out the real Alex and Kevin. That's what I really like. I don't mind the occasional one, but the last few have been sorta lame and I hate putting down the two dude's that got me into watching podcasts in the first place.

Also a fan of Dan 3.0. I initially didn't care for it much but it's grown on me. Dan has a really cool attitude and it's fun to watch. I've been looking forward to episodes more and more as the weeks go by.

And Now for my negative comments. Sorry If I offend.

Ditching "The Digg Reel" was a bad move. It didn't matter who hosted it, it was a good source of funny vids that I often shared with my friends. Why something like this got the axe I have no idea...

I'm going waaay back... in internet time.. Infected/Internet Superstar was a fun show to watch. I have no idea why this got the can... Both shows were a pleasure to watch, it was unique and fun. The whole reason I come to Rev3. Even Webdrifter was awesome. I mean watch the old episodes... you'll want more...

Those are the two big ones for me.. I've missed INST MSGS and CO-OP too. I guess not as much... Still were good shows... Oh and Wine Library TV was awesome.

Ok so... Comments on new programming.

I admit I don't watch 100% of Rev 3 content. So for the shows I don't mention, I'm neither for nor against.

GeakBeet.TV I really enjoy this show. Couple it with http://twitter.com/CaliLewis and you're getting cool stories/info every day. Thumbs up

Scam School - I've enjoyed this show for a long time. Lately the episodes have sorta of gotten boring. No offense to the talent of Brian, but I think after so long the show should go bigger and better. Instead of just the bartricks.

ROFL - Why did this get cut? I get the impression that it wasn't rev3 putting together the shows so why bail on them? Funny clips keep people revisiting your site lol....

The Ugly..

This is stuff I just don't like. Sorry for the people making it. I'm just one guy..

AppJudgement - I'm sorry. I just don't care 85% of the time. Cool apps are cool, but I don't need a show to tell me what's new...

Destructioid - New show. I don't wanna rag on them, but what I've seen seems very forced on their part and redundant for the rev 3 lineup

Joe Genius - Love the show and concept. Would like to see it get a little bit further out of the mainstream and treat their audiences intelligence with a little more respect.

Unboxing Porn - Very clever in the beginning, stale now. You could almost copy/paste soundbites from one episode to the other. I still like watching it but bring in some new dialogue.

Well that's my comments. Again This is like post 3 for me. I'm not some crazy fanboy that wants to control every aspect of rev 3. I enjoy their content for now and just wanted to post my personal feelings. I'll leave it at that.

Cheers.

I didn't read most of that^ so I hope this thread doesn't get deleted, but I would like to say as a loyal viewer that I also prefer the non live shows. I would even go as far as saying I hate the live shows and they're almost always a disappointment.

I would encourage rev3 to conduct a non objective poll about live vs non live show likability.

Also, as a so far unsuccessful entrepreneur I can understand when you hit the wall and everything seems boring even though other people still enjoy /reap the benefits of what you're doing, but you just have to power through those lulls and understand that all is not lost. It's a balance of new and old and if you completely abandon the old which has served you so well so far, you spit in the face of everything you worked so hard for.

appjudgment - ok about half the time. the quality is good but i really don't care about another social app.

bytejacker - ok but nothing to get me logon for.

The Digg Real - I miss it, I did logon for this one

GeekBeet.TV - The subject matter was good, but I gotta say the girl is toooo sweet. I have to adjust my insulin just to watch it. And what does she do with her voice? I mean the way in which it tails off at the end of each sentence. It's unnerving.

HD Nation - Never miss it, in spite of Patric's "I like that thought'

Joe genius - I really like the show but I'd like it to be even more technical

ROFL - Is it still on? I used to watch it, that was until Cully took it over. he was not funny.

Scientific Tuesdays - Sounds interesting but I have not seen it yet.

The Ben Hech Show - Great

Dan 3.0 - Thats three minutes I'll never get back... totally pointless

Diggnation - quite often something of interest

Hak5 - Most of the time over my head. I wish they had talked Linux or BSD more

penn point - too too much about penn although i sometimes enjoyed his mental gymnastics.

Scam Schoo - good but i thing he's is running out of material

Tekzilla (weekly) - never miss it
Tekzilla (daily) - so so

The Totally Rad Show - I like it as a daily, but the lame games have to go.. and I hate to say this but Dan can be such a ..... i can't say that?

just my 2 cents.

Tekzilla, the weekly edition, is the only Revision 3 show that I have left on my playlist. There was a time there I listened to TRS, Scam School, Diggnation, ROFL and Digg Reel. I hate to say it but TRS and Digg Reel were both far better in longer, weekly formats.

idk of the 20 shows that you all do I really only car about 6 of them anymore, mainly because the ones I care about keep getting killed or merged.

I watch Tekzilla exclusively pretty much. It's a freaking awesome show, and I really wish Revision3 would get an episode out every weekday.
