Personally, one of the things I think MTV did really well was MTV News. It was a short 5 - 10 min. news show that focused on world/entertainment news that was relevant to the MTV audience. With that said a rev3 show about tech/world news that is relevant to the rev3 demographic would be great. It could be a short 5 - 10 min. deal but I think it could be as long as 20 min. if done well. The other strong point about MTV news was its hosts so that of course should be a focus as well. Keep it short, keep it fresh, and fast paced. I think that it could work.
