Request for 2 iPod codecs

Is it just me or does anybody else think that R3 shows should be released in iPod format aswell? I think it would be great to release the shows in:

1.) 320x240 MP4 for iPod 5G
and
2.) 640x480 MP4 for iPod 5.5G

I really don't wanna download 80odd shows and have to convert them ALL!! It would be great if you guys could do that, thanks!

unlikely they will. There is the ipod video version (.m4v) as far as other versions, All rev3 versions are offered in large and small Quicktime (m4v), Theora (.ogg Does anyone actually use Theora?), Xvid (.avi) and WMV. It seems unlikely that they would add more formats than that, unless you want to push the release time back. Plus, unless there is a big push of people wanting a format I couldn't see it being added.

Maybe I'm not getting it but isn't Diggnation alreayd available in 2 ipod formats. I just did a search in iTunes and there's 2, one small qt, and one large qt. I imagine they're ipod format.

The new 640x480 size works on 5G iPods after the latest firmware is applied. I have one. Really, Rev3 needs to get on the ball and start encoding the large quicktime files to the new h.264 profile so we can watch them in both places!
